WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner, ref 1680, circa 1978, 42mm including crown guards x 47mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case faceted lugs and a bi-directional diving bezel, original insert, stainless steel Oyster bracelet with tuna can style clasp and fold over safety as well as diver's extension, original black dial with white printed text and lume plot indices, date aperture at 3, 26J cal 1570, s#5704627, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 93150 with 580 end pieces date code of P10 for 1991, inside back ref 1680.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light spotting on rotor edge; excellent-plus dial with hardly any surface spotting; excellent-plus matching Mercedes hands with light cracking to lume in Mercedes hand; polished case shows little wear, lug chamfers are polished but visible, light dings on the backs of the lugs from being worn on a bracelet; bracelet shows little wear, very light stretch; original Rolex signed crown shows light wear, good threads; good plastic crystal; resealed for auction. Inner and outer boxes show little wear.
